Common questions
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan gives you 2,000 credits to use without entering any payment details. When you upgrade to a paid plan, your card is only charged if you continue after your first billing period.
What is a credit?
A credit is the smallest unit of agent work. Content, social and email post agents cost 100 credits per run. SEO Analyser is 500 credits per page. SEO Fixer is 1,000 credits per page. The Pro plan with 100,000 credits gives you up to 6 full visibility checks per month (hard-capped) plus plenty of room for content and SEO work.
What's the difference between Free, Starter, Pro, Business and Enterprise?
Free (£0) gets you 2,000 one-off credits and 5 core agents - no AI Visibility. Starter (£19/mo) gives you 25,000 credits/mo for content and SEO, plus 1 AI Visibility check/mo. Pro (£49/mo) gives you all 44 agents, AI Visibility with 6 checks/mo and 100,000 credits. Business (£119/mo) adds up to 5 businesses, 30 visibility checks, 500,000 credits, white-label dashboards and HubSpot/Zapier/Xero. Enterprise (£299/mo) gives you up to 25 businesses, 150 visibility checks, 2M credits, SSO, Salesforce, custom webhooks and a dedicated support manager. Every paid plan from Pro up includes all 44 agents - you upgrade for more businesses, checks, credits and integrations, not more agents.
What happens when I run out of credits?
There's no postpaid overage. You have three options: upgrade your plan to a higher tier, buy a one-off top-up pack (from £5 for 5,000 credits up to £349 for 500,000), or wait for your monthly reset. You can also opt in to auto-recharge in account settings. AI Visibility checks are hard-capped per tier independently of your credit balance.
Why is AI Visibility limited to a hard cap per tier?
AI Visibility is the most expensive feature we run - each full check queries 5 AI platforms with 15 prompts each. To keep prices predictable for everyone, we cap visibility check usage per tier (Starter 1/mo, Pro 6/mo, Business 30/mo, Enterprise 150/mo) independently of your credit balance. This way your other agents (content, SEO, social) still have plenty of credits to run.
What's the Starter tier for?
Starter is for businesses who want a real allocation of credits for content, SEO and social agents, plus a monthly pulse on their AI visibility. 25,000 credits a month is enough for around 250 content posts or 50 SEO Analyser runs, and includes 1 full AI Visibility check. Upgrade to Pro any time for 6 checks a month.
When do credits expire?
Subscription credits renew monthly with your billing cycle and don't roll over - any unused credits at the end of the month are reset. Top-up pack credits don't expire and stay on your account until used.
What if my subscription renewal fails?
You get a 3-day grace period to update your payment method. After that, your plan downgrades to Free and your credit allowance drops accordingly. You won't lose your data or settings - just upgrade again to restore your previous plan.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans cancel instantly from your dashboard with no fees or lock-in. Any unused credits in your current billing period are not refunded but you keep access until the end of the period.
Which AI platforms do you work with?
Agent Console HQ monitors and optimises your visibility across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Grok - the five platforms where your customers are increasingly going for recommendations instead of Google.
What is GEO and why does it matter?
GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimisation - the new discipline of making sure AI systems recommend your business when people ask relevant questions. As Google search declines and AI assistants take over, being visible in AI responses is quickly becoming as important as ranking on page one. Agent Console HQ is built specifically for this.
Is the annual plan charged upfront?
Yes. Annual billing charges 12 months upfront at the discounted rate, saving you around 20% versus monthly. Top-up packs are billed separately as one-off purchases.
Can I upgrade or downgrade between plans?
Yes. Upgrade any time and the difference is prorated for your current billing period. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
