What is GEO and why does it matter?+

GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimisation - making sure AI systems recommend your business when people ask relevant questions. As AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity become the first place people go for recommendations, being mentioned in AI responses is becoming as important as ranking on Google page one.

Agent Console HQ monitors your visibility across five AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok) and tracks whether your business is being recommended for the queries that matter to you.

Which AI platforms do you monitor?+

We monitor: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Grok. AI Visibility checks are blocked on Free and Starter. Pro tracks all 5 with up to 6 checks/mo, Business with 30 checks/mo, Enterprise with 150 checks/mo.

What are custom prompts?+

Custom prompts are the specific questions your GEO agent asks each AI platform on your behalf. For example: "What's the best CRM for a small law firm?" or "Which marketing agencies in London specialise in professional services?"

Pro plans support up to 15 custom prompts. Business plans support up to 50. Enterprise supports 150. The more prompts you run, the more granular your visibility picture becomes - but each prompt costs credits, so more prompts means more usage.

Agents

How many agents are there and what do they do?+

There are 43 agents in total: 11 Starter agents, 26 Pro agents, and 6 Business Super Agents (Insight + Fixer pairs).

Starter agents (Starter and above): Content Writer, SEO Analyser, Social Post Writer, Email Responder, Report Generator, Lead Qualifier, Invoice Chaser, Meeting Prep Agent, Review Manager, plus 2 more in the SEO Insight + Fixer pair.

Pro agents (Pro, Business and Enterprise): Competitor Monitor, Data Entry Agent, Brand Voice Trainer, Ad Copy Generator, Keyword Researcher, Link Builder, Sentiment Analyser, Onboarding Assistant, Proposal Writer, Workflow Automator, AI Visibility Agent, Social Scheduler, GA4 Insight Agent, SEO Fixer, Competitor Response Agent, Compliance Check, Compliance Fixer, Customer Churn Predictor, Churn Prevention Agent, Pricing Experimenter, Competitor Research Agent, PR Pitch Writer, Recruitment Screener, Strategy and Content Agent, Meeting Summariser, Job Description Writer.

Business Super Agents (Business and Enterprise only): 3 paired Finder + Fixer combos including the GEO Mega Agent (4-in-1), Analytics Super Agent, and Customer Lifecycle pair.

Free plan users can access 5 of the 11 Starter agents. Starter unlocks all Starter agents. Pro unlocks Starter + Pro tier (37 total). Business and Enterprise unlock all 43.

Do I need to supply my own AI API keys?+

Agent Console HQ uses a Bring Your Own Keys (BYOK) model. You connect one or more API keys from supported AI providers - OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google, or xAI - and agents run on your account. This means your AI usage is billed directly to you by the provider, not marked up by us.

Your keys are encrypted at rest (Supabase Vault) and only decrypted in the moment an agent runs. We never log or expose your keys.

Plans and pricing

What plans are available?+

There are five plans.

  • Free - 2,000 one-off credits, no credit card needed. AI Visibility checks are blocked on this tier. Good for trying the agents.
  • Starter - £19/mo (annual £15/mo, £180/yr) - 25,000 fresh credits every month, the 10 core agents. AI Visibility checks are blocked on this tier.
  • Pro - £49/mo (annual £39/mo, £468/yr) - 100,000 fresh credits every month, all 37 Starter + Pro tier agents, all 5 AI platforms tracked, up to 6 AI Visibility checks per month, up to 15 custom prompts, competitor tracking, reports and CSV export.
  • Business - £119/mo (annual £95/mo, £1,140/yr) - 500,000 credits per month, everything in Pro plus multi-brand workspaces, up to 5 team seats, white-label reports, API access, 30 AI Visibility checks per month, 50 custom prompts, multi-location tracking, and a dedicated onboarding session.
  • Enterprise - £299/mo (annual £239/mo, £2,868/yr) - 2,000,000 credits per month, 150 AI Visibility checks per month, 150 custom prompts, priority support and everything in Business.

All prices include VAT.

Pro gives you 37 agents (Starter + Pro tier). Business unlocks the full 43 including the Business Super Agents and gives you everything you need to run multiple brands or a small agency.

Business is built for agencies and teams. Pro is built for a single person or small business running their own brand.

Is there a free trial?+

Yes - the Free plan is your trial. You get 2,000 one-off credits to explore the platform with no time limit and no credit card required. Once your credits are used, you choose whether to upgrade.

There's also a 7-day full refund guarantee on your first paid subscription charge if you change your mind after upgrading.

Can I cancel anytime?+

Yes. Cancel from your account settings at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of your current billing period - we don't cut you off immediately. No fees, no lock-in on monthly plans.

Annual plans are billed upfront and are non-refundable after the 7-day cooling-off period.

Credits and usage

What is a credit?+

A credit is the unit we use to measure Agent Console HQ usage. Every time an agent runs, it consumes credits depending on the scope of the task.

  • A full AI Visibility check across all 5 AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok) = 8,000 credits
  • A single-platform AI Visibility check = 1,600 credits
  • Other agent tasks are measured proportionally - shown in the "How We Measure" section of your dashboard

Credits have no monetary value and cannot be transferred or refunded. Unused credits don't roll over to the next month.

How many credits do I get on each plan?+
  • Free - 2,000 one-off credits. Enough to try out the agents. AI Visibility checks are blocked.
  • Starter - 25,000 credits every month. AI Visibility checks are blocked.
  • Pro - 100,000 credits every month, plus up to 6 AI Visibility checks per month.
  • Business - 500,000 credits every month, plus up to 30 AI Visibility checks per month.
  • Enterprise - 2,000,000 credits every month, plus up to 150 AI Visibility checks per month.
What happens when I run out of credits?+

On paid plans (Starter, Pro, Business, Enterprise): agent runs pause once your monthly allocation is used up. To keep going, buy a top-up pack from your dashboard - 5,000 credits for £5, 25,000 for £22, 100,000 for £79, or 500,000 for £349. Top-up credits are prepaid, never expire while your subscription is active, and stack on top of your monthly allowance.

On the Free plan: once your 2,000 one-off credits are used, agent runs pause and you're prompted to upgrade.

Top-up packs

What are top-up packs?+

Top-up packs are prepaid bundles of extra credits you can buy any time from your dashboard. They sit on top of your monthly allowance and let you keep agents running once you've used up your subscription credits.

  • Starter pack - £5 for 5,000 credits
  • Growth pack - £22 for 25,000 credits
  • Scale pack - £79 for 100,000 credits
  • Power pack - £349 for 500,000 credits

Top-up credits are prepaid, no surprise invoices, and they don't expire while your subscription is active. They're consumed only after your monthly allowance is exhausted.

What happens when my monthly credits run out?+

Agent runs pause and you're alerted from the dashboard. To keep going, buy a top-up pack and your agents resume immediately. There's no automatic billing for extra usage - everything is prepaid, so there are no surprise charges at the end of the month.

If you regularly need more credits than your tier allows, the simplest fix is to upgrade to the next tier - it's almost always cheaper per credit than topping up.

Do top-up credits expire?+

No. Top-up credits stay on your account for as long as your subscription is active, even rolling across billing cycles. If you cancel your subscription, any unused top-up credits are forfeited 30 days after cancellation.

White-label reports

What does white-label mean on the Business plan?+

White-label reports remove Agent Console HQ branding and replace it with your own. Instead of the report saying "Powered by Agent Console HQ", it shows your logo, your business name, and your colour scheme.

This is designed for agencies who use Agent Console HQ to run AI Visibility monitoring for their clients. You run the agent, generate the report, and deliver it to your client as your own work.

White-label is available on Business and Enterprise plans. PDF and CSV exports both support white-labelling.

Can I resell GEO reports to clients?+

Yes - this is one of the primary use cases for the Business and Enterprise plans. Run AI Visibility monitoring for your clients, white-label the reports, and deliver them as part of your own service. You set your own pricing for your clients. We just ask that you don't resell access to the platform itself.

Agent connections and third-party costs

Do all agents work straight away, or do some need extra setup?+

Most agents are ready as soon as you connect one AI API key - just open the agent, fill in a brief, and run it. But a small number of agents integrate with third-party tools like your CRM, accounting software, or social media scheduler. Those tools need their own separate account. The agent connects on your behalf; it doesn't replace the tool or include its subscription cost.

When you activate an agent that needs a third-party connection, the dashboard tells you exactly what to connect and where to get it.

Which agents need a third-party account or subscription?+

Six agents have third-party connection requirements:

  • Social Scheduler - connects to Buffer, Hootsuite, or Publer to queue and publish your social posts. Buffer has a free tier (up to 3 social channels). Paid plans start at around $6/mo. You add your Buffer (or Hootsuite/Publer) API key in Settings - API Keys.
  • Invoice Chaser - connects to Xero or QuickBooks to pull outstanding invoices and draft follow-up emails automatically. You need an active Xero subscription (from around £15/mo) or QuickBooks (from around £12/mo). Connect it via your accounting tool's API credentials in Settings.
  • Lead Qualifier - connects to HubSpot CRM to pull lead records, score them, and draft next steps. HubSpot's free CRM tier works fine for most use cases - no paid HubSpot plan required. Add your HubSpot API key in Settings.
  • Keyword Researcher - uses the Perplexity AI API for real-time web-aware keyword and competitor research. Perplexity is already one of the five BYOK providers in your API Keys settings. Usage is pay-per-query - typically a few pence per research run. No separate Perplexity account needed beyond the API key.
  • AI Visibility Agent - a full 5-platform check queries ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Grok simultaneously. This requires an API key for each of those five providers in your Settings. Each key is pay-per-use. A full check typically costs a few pence in total API charges. Available on Pro, Business and Enterprise plans only.
  • Data Entry Agent - can read from and write to Google Sheets via the Google Sheets API. A standard Google account (free) is all that's needed. You connect it once via Google OAuth in Settings.

All other agents - Content Writer, SEO Analyser, Social Post Writer, Email Responder, Customer Support Bot, Report Generator, Meeting Prep Agent, Review Manager, Competitor Monitor, Brand Voice Trainer, Ad Copy Generator, Link Builder, Sentiment Analyser, Onboarding Assistant, Proposal Writer, Workflow Automator - run on your AI API keys only, with no extra accounts required.

Why do I need my own API keys? Why doesn't Agent Console HQ just include AI access?+

Our Bring Your Own Keys (BYOK) model exists for three reasons.

  • Cost transparency. Your AI calls are billed directly by the provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) at their published rates with no markup from us. You see exactly what you're spending on AI. Most agent runs cost a fraction of a penny in API charges.
  • Data privacy. Your inputs and outputs go directly between you and the provider. They never sit on an Agent Console HQ server in plaintext. We store your keys encrypted at rest using Supabase Vault and only decrypt them in the moment a run fires.
  • Provider flexibility. You can choose which AI provider powers each task, switch providers if one changes its pricing, and have full control over your usage limits and spending on each account.
How much do the AI API keys actually cost to use?+

Very little for most tasks. Most AI providers offer pay-as-you-go billing based on the number of tokens processed (roughly, words in plus words out). As a rough guide:

  • Writing a 500-word blog post with the Content Writer: around £0.001-0.005 in API costs
  • Drafting a reply to a customer review: well under £0.01
  • Running a full 5-platform AI Visibility check (8,000 credits): typically £0.02-0.10 in total across all five API calls

These costs are so small that most users spend less than £5/mo in total API charges even on Pro plans with heavy usage. Each provider gives you a free tier or prepaid credit to start with, so you can test before you spend anything.

The only exception is if you run very large data entry or analysis tasks - those can process more tokens and cost more. The dashboard shows an estimated credit cost before each run so you can decide.

Account and security

Is my data secure?+

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. API keys are stored using Supabase Vault encryption and are never returned to the browser. We comply with UK GDPR and do not sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

What happens to my data if I cancel?+

Your account data, agent configurations, and outputs are retained for 30 days after your subscription ends. After that they are permanently deleted. You can request a data export at any time during your active subscription.

Can I get a refund?+

Yes - you have 7 days from your first paid charge to request a full refund, no questions asked. After 7 days, subscription fees are non-refundable. Top-up pack purchases are non-refundable once any of the credits have been used. Contact us at hello@creativesauce.io to request a refund.
