What is Agent Console HQ?
Agent Console HQ is two things in one: a set of 22 AI agents that do real business tasks (writing, research, outreach, analysis), and an AI Visibility monitoring system that tracks whether your business is being recommended by ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Grok.
Everything runs through a single dashboard. You activate the agents you need, run them when you want, and see your AI visibility scores go up over time as the AI Visibility Agent works on your behalf (Pro, Business and Enterprise plans).
Before you start
You'll need:
- An Agent Console HQ account (free to create at agentconsolehq.com/signup)
- API keys for the AI providers you want to use (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google, xAI) - each provider has a free tier or pay-as-you-go pricing
- 10 minutes
Step-by-step setup
Create your free account
Go to agentconsolehq.com/signup and sign up with your email. No credit card needed. You'll get 2,000 one-off free credits to explore the agents. Note: AI Visibility checks are blocked on the Free plan - you'll need Pro or higher for those.
Once signed in, you'll land on your dashboard. Take a moment to look around - the left sidebar is your navigation between the different sections.
Add your AI API keys
Go to Settings - API Keys in your dashboard. This is where you connect the AI providers that power your agents.
You only need to add keys for the providers you want to use. For GEO visibility monitoring, you'll need at least one of: OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google Gemini, or xAI. For a full 5-platform scan, you'll need one key per platform.
Where to get your keys:
- OpenAI - platform.openai.com - create account, go to API Keys
- Anthropic - console.anthropic.com - create account, go to API Keys
- Perplexity - perplexity.ai - go to Settings - API
- Google Gemini - aistudio.google.com - go to Get API Key
- xAI - console.x.ai - go to API Keys
Paste each key into the relevant field and click Save. The key is encrypted immediately - only the last 4 characters are shown after saving.
Run your first AI Visibility check
Go to AI Visibility in the sidebar. This is your visibility dashboard - it shows you how visible your business is across the five major AI platforms. Available on Pro, Business and Enterprise plans only.
Click Run Check. The default check uses the built-in starter prompts for your industry. A full 5-platform check uses 8,000 credits and takes about 2-3 minutes. Each plan includes a monthly cap of checks: 6 on Pro, 30 on Business, 150 on Enterprise.
When it finishes you'll see:
- A visibility score (0-100) for each AI platform
- Whether your business was mentioned in AI responses
- Which competitors were mentioned instead
- The exact AI response text for each prompt
This is your baseline. Run it on your usual cadence to track progress as your visibility strategy improves.
Activate your first agents
Go to Agent Marketplace in the sidebar. You'll see all available agents organised by goal: Grow, Create, and Operate.
Click on any agent to see what it does and what it costs in credits. Click Activate to add it to your console. The agent will appear in your My Agents section.
Good agents to start with:
- Content Writer - write a blog post or landing page. Fast, brand-aware, ready to edit.
- SEO Analyser - paste any URL and get an instant audit with prioritised fixes.
- Review Manager - paste a customer review and get a professional reply in your tone.
Run an agent
In My Agents, click any activated agent. Fill in the brief (what you want it to do), choose any options, and click Run.
Most agents complete in under 60 seconds. The output appears directly in the dashboard. You can copy it, download it, or run again with a different brief.
Each run consumes credits. You can see your remaining credit balance and usage history in Settings - Usage.

On paid plans, if you use all your monthly credits your agents pause until you buy a top-up pack (5,000 credits for £5, 25,000 for £22, 100,000 for £79, 500,000 for £349). Top-ups are prepaid - no surprise invoices. Annual billing is available at a discount on every paid tier.
What to do next
- On Pro or higher, set up custom prompts in AI Visibility to track the exact questions your customers ask (15 on Pro, 50 on Business, 150 on Enterprise)
- On Pro or higher, add competitors to track - see if they're getting mentioned in AI responses where you're not
- Explore the Content Writer agent with a topic relevant to your business and see how quickly it produces publish-ready copy
